Kane County Cougars Night of 100 Promotions August 11

Looking for a fun family night out before school starts? Why not spend Thursday, August 11 at Kane County Cougars.

On Thursday, August 11, the Kane County Cougars will host a night of 100 promotions. These promotions will take place before, during and after the game.

When guests enter the stadium, they will receive a complete list of all 100 promotions. In addition to the promotions, special guests will include former Chicago White Sox organist Nancy Faust, baseball executive Roland Hemond and sports promotions visionary Mike Veeck.

Some of the special promotions include:

Ball Park shower, similar to the shower Bill Veeck installed in the outfield bleachers of Comiskey Park.

Record Toss Contest.do you remember the Disco Demolition Night at Comiskey Park in 1879? Select fans will be able to pay homage to this event by throwing discs onto the field.

Ivy Seed Giveaway. What Chicagoan doesn't know the infamous ivy at Wrigley field? Lucky fans will leave with their own ivy seed.

Nancy Faust Performance. The seventh inning stretch will be performed by the former White Sox organist. Also, she'll play her version of Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye when the opposing pitcher leaves the game.

These are just a few of the special promotions during the night of 100 Promotions. Throughout the night, guests will be selected for various tasks such as delivering the line-up card to home plate, igniting the fireworks, and being guest radio announcer Make sure that your group stays to the end of the game so that you don't miss any of the fun.
