But my biggest problem with breath mints is the flavor. I have digestive issues and mint flavoring is extremely hard on my stomach. When faced with no other choice, I'll use the mint flavored products, but it doesn't make me feel good. I'm always on the lookout for products that are extremely effective but don't have that strong mint flavor.
Recently, I was given the opportunity to try TheraBreath. TheraBreath is an oral care system created by Dr. Harold Katz. Starting in 1994, Dr. Katz developed a formula to be effective in fighting halitosis. With a variety of oral care products, TheraBreath products are developed to your breath fresh. In addition to mints, TheraBreath offers toothpastes and mouthwashes as well as several other products.
I've been using the TheraBreath mints throughout my son's swim meets. When you are standing for hours and hours at a time, my mouth gets dry. Before the meet, I put a couple of mints in my pocket. My mouth stays moist and I never worry about bad breath. When you are constantly talking to people, you don't want to worry about bad breath. Plus, since the flavor isn't strongly mint, I don't get an upset stomach.
We also brought some of the mints to July 4th barbecue. With all the sausage and onions, I never worried that I was offending people with my breath. After eating, I popped a mint and I was good to go. Also, the TheraBreath didn't kill my taste buds like I find many mints do. Later when I had another beverage or snack, I was able to enjoy the food and not have a strong breath mint after-taste.
TheraBreath is available online at http://www.therabreath.com. Locally, TheraBreath can be purchased at Meijer, Walgreens, CVS and Jewel Osco.

ReplyDeleteI feel so self conscious when going to the dentist office because they're right there in your face. I just had to go for 5 appointments in a time frame of 4 weeks. Since starting blood pressure medicine a year ago, my teeth have started going downhill and my breath has went to the toilet!

I am a very self conscious person and I know probably more than one time I could have used TheraBreath to make me feel a little less self conscious about my breathe.
