Little Beans Cafe, where parents and kids can play


After this winter’s bad weather, many of families are looking for new play places for their little ones. Luckily Chicago has a brand new family oasis where parents can play too, Little Beans Café.

Little Beans Café is a 5000 square foot coffee lounge and imaginative play-space for kids and parents. Finding the right balance between a kid fantasy land and an adult-friendly outing can be difficult. The play environment has numerous options all kids. From the interactive play village to the sensory touch zone, the kids can explore and learn.

For the parents, Little Beans Café has offers a full line of Intelligentsia coffee and tea. But the indulgences don’t stop there. The café offers breakfast sandwiches, bakery items, Panini, and cupcakes. Of course, the café didn’t forget the kids. It offers kid’s favorites like grilled cheese, dogs and other kid’s snacks.

Currently, Little Beans Café offers open play but will add programming, including everyday classes, special events and birthday parties. Parents are required to stay on site with their children during open play but programs will be offered for parents to enjoy time alone in the café or to take a class while their kids are supervised by professional staff.

Little Beans Café is located at 1809 W. Webster Avenue, between Lincoln Park and Bucktown. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9AM to 2 PM.

Entrance to Little Beans Café is $12 for a day pass and siblings are $7. A 10 visit pass is $100. Monthly and yearly memberships are available. Memberships offer benefits including unlimited open play, coffee shop discounts, class discounts and other fun perks and discounts.
