Fun and free events February 5 & 6


The big blizzard is over and I think that we all could use a little fun. Here is a list of some fun and free events for this weekend, February 5 & 6. 
 
Home Depot Kids Workshop:
Home Depot Kids’ Workshop will be holding its monthly building event on Saturday, February 5 from 9 am till noon (or while supplies last). This month’s project is a heart shaped shelf. Home Depot Kids’ Workshops are free and are suggested for children ages 5 to 12. All Home Depot locations offer the Kids’ workshops. 


World Market: Free beer and wine tasting:                                   :
 Get ready for the big game on Sunday with a beer and wine tasting at World Market. From 1 till 4 PM, participating World Market locations will be sampling Stone Brewery beers and wines of the world. 

Michaels:
Create a handmade Valentine’s Day Box for your Valentine on Sunday, February 6 from 1 till 3 PM. This offer is available while supplies last. The craft is recommended for children ages 3 and older. The box does need to be purchased to participate in this event. 

Andy’s Frozen Custard: Chicago area only
 Andy’s Frozen Custard will be offering free one-topping sundaes at its four Chicago area locations on Saturday, February 5. The offer will be available from 11 am till 11 pm. Whole Foods Market, Naperville:
 Looking to make some great chili for Super Bowl Sunday? Get some great ideas from the Big Game Chili Cook-off.  This third annual chili cook-off will offer several varieties of chili to taste. Each department will enter its own interpretation. Be sure to vote on your favorite.
