Beat your family’s winter blahs at the Chicago Travel and Adventure Show, Januar

It’s cold, damp and the winter seems never ending. Wouldn’t a vacation to someplace warm or to somewhere exciting make the winter doldrums go away.

Let your imagination run wild this weekend at the Chicago Travel and Adventure show. This weekend, Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30, the Chicago Travel and Adventure show will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

The Show will exhibit all the wonders and excitement that travel has to offer. Whether your family likes relaxation by the beach or rather activities like hiking, the Show will have exhibitors who can show you the latest and great vacation options for your favorite activities.

In addition to all the great travel exhibitors, the Chicago Travel and Adventure Show offers numerous activities for family participation. There are hands-on adventure activities like riding a camel, creating your special travel photo and a fiery foods challenge.

For those looking for a more relaxed event, several special guest speakers, including Rick Steves from PBS’ Rick Steves Europe, will share their knowledge about traveling the globe.  These are just a few of the activities offered over the two day event. For a complete list of all the appearances and activities, please see the Chicago Travel and Adventure Show website

Tickets, purchased at the door, for the Chicago Travel and Adventure show are $15 per day for adults. Children, accompanied by an adult, are free. If you buy your tickets on-line, the price is only $9. Tickets are printed at home.
