Gridiron Football game, you get to call the game, review & giveaway

I live in a football house. Every Sunday (and some Monday nights), we gather around the television to watch the passes, runs and tackles. Sometimes, the boys agree with the plays that the coaches’ call and other times they strongly advocate against certain play calls. Often they wish that they were the ones with the headset and clipboard. 

Now my boys can take the coaching reigns at home. Gridiron Football is a game where the player makes every play call from the comfort of their couch. This realistic football card game lets you become the decision maker, the coach. 

With 78 action cards, no two games will be the same. Each unique card contains eight different sections: Center Run, End Run, Short Pass, Long Pass, Punt, Field Goal, Extra Point, or Kickoff. Call a play and track your progress on the 100-yard playing field. Mark your position, the first down spot and the current drive. 

Now comes the fun part, playing the game. The premise of the game is easy. If you know football, you can play this game. One side is offense and the other side is defense.  Call a play, see what happens. Maybe you score, maybe you turn the ball over; the possibilities are numerous. 

Gridiron Football is intended for ages 7 and up, but can be played by younger players with some guidance.  The game consists of 78 action cards, a playing field, field markers and instructions. This game is great for traveling and can be easily stored in a backpack or purse.
