Phineas and Ferb to appear at the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival


The 19th Annual Magnificent Mile Lights Festival presented by Harris Bank will be held on Saturday, November 20. In addition to the parade on Michigan Avenue, Radio Disney AM 1300 will have a whole day of events to entertain the family. 

Starting at 11:45 am, the Radio Disney Road Crew will host special Phineas and Ferb activities. At the Lights Festival Lane in Pioneer Court, the Phineas and Ferb walk around characters will entertain the guests. Also, there will Phineas and Ferb activities and appearances by stars Vincent Martella (as Phineas Flynn), and Thomas Sangster (as Ferb Fletcher).

Ernie D., Radio Disney on-air personality, will host a free concert on the Harris Stage in Pioneer Court.  Allstar Weekend will perform at 2pm. They will be performing their hit songs Dance Forever and Come Down with Love. 

After the concerts and activities, Allstar Weekend will kick off the tree lighting procession down Michigan Avenue.  From the Radio Disney Float, Ernie D and the Phineas and Ferb characters will great all their fans. 

The lighting procession down Michigan Avenue begins at 5:30 pm. There will be more than 30 floats, marching bands and of course, Mickey and Minnie Mouse illuminating more than one million lights on 200 trees along the Magnificent Mile. 

After all the lights are lit, the grand finale will be fireworks. At approximately, 6:45 pm, over the Chicago River, the Allstate fireworks spectacular will end the event.
