Satisfy your flavor profile with Lawry's - review and giveaway

I don't know about you, but I don't like bland, boring food. But, with small children, I have to find the balance of foods that fit my flavor profile, but don't rock the boat with the kids. I don't like having food left on a plate because Mr. Picky says that dinner is too spicy, tart, or even sweet. So, when I see products that meet my flavor expectations but don't overwhelm my kids' taste buds, I'm hooked. 

Recently, MyBlogSpark and Lawry's gave me the opportunity to try some of their marinades and seasoning mixes. My kids are always excited when there is a package at the door so I enlisted their help with dinner. I let them pursue the options and we settled on the Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato marinade. 

So before we headed off to afternoon activities, we set the chicken to marinade in our Pyrex pan, put it in the refrigerator and left for after school activities. When we came back, all I had to do is put the chicken in the oven, cook a little pasta and vegetables and we were done. 

The true test came when the kids sat down for dinner. Consensus was - the marinade was a hit. It as a little more sophisticated flavor that I like but the flavor profile was not extreme for the kids. My oldest even asked for seconds - so I call it a big hit. 

Lawry's offers several marinades and seasoning mixes. Some options are Asian Style Beef and Broccoli, Chimichurri Burrito Casserole, and Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala with Garlic and Basil, as well as a Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ marinade.

• The Sweet Lifers - Sweet Flavors
  As a Sweet Lifer, home and family are close to your heart. You are the kindest and most loyal, although you probably wouldn’t admit that as you are also the most modest. As an individual that prefers sweeter flavors (honey and fruit-infused), you are influenced by your parents, enjoy family entertainment, and consider yourself spiritual.
• The Conventionalists - Savory Flavors
  Your passion for savory flavors shows you have an enthusiasm for politics, enjoy camping and hiking and love outdoor barbeques and American cuisine. Along with the other Conventionalists, you tend to be more introverted than the rest of the groups and often describe yourself as a homebody.
