As a mom, I love toys that require my kids to use their imagination. Whether they conjure fantastical world of mythical creatures or just simple games of fun, all of these processes are great learning tools.
Schleich is a company that produces figurines. Started in the 1950s, Schleich produces a variety of animals, knights, dinosaurs and popular comic figurines including the Smurfs and Snoopy. Today, Schleich has introduced a new line of elfin figurines and a book about their adventures.
We were sent a group of Bayala toys, as well as, select Schleich animal toys. Bayala is magical world of dragons, elves and the mysterious Amuyi. The Amuyi are part human and part wild animal. This combination makes them mighty warriors and inseparable companions. These creatures join together to have amazing adventures.
While my kids didn’t know the store of Bayala, they liked the carved rock and warrior figurines. The boys battled against each other jumping their characters on and off the rock. It was a fight to the finish with always the good warrior winning.
While the boys battled, the girls liked playing with the horses. They made the horses jump, gallop and even fly around the house. There was no stopping these rambunctious ponies. One mom commented, this is a great way to give her a pony that she’s been wanting.
All the parents commented that it was nice to see the kids away from the television and video games for a while. As the colder weather is quickly approaching, it’s important to keep the kids occupied while inside. The Schleich toys are a great way to keep the kids’ minds active and not zoned out.
Schleich toys can be purchased locally at Michaels, Target My Favorite Toy Store of Downers Grove, and Learning Express of Glen Ellen. For more information on the Schleich toys, please visit their website.
So if your kids like playing with figurines and could use some imagination toys, why not look into Schleich toys. The creative possibilities are limitless.
