Ribfest is known for a great time over the Fourth of July weekend. With headlining concerts and world class ribs, it is a must visit over the holiday.
While the parents are enjoying themselves, they don't have to worry about the kids because Ribfest offers numerous activities for children of all ages.
This year Ribfest is having 2 Family Fun Days. On Thursday, July 1 and Friday, July 2 there are specials for families. From noon till 4 p.m. on each day, unlimited carnival rides are $10 per person. Other discounts include $3 off a 1/2 slab of ribs from participating vendors, $1 hot dogs and $1 ice cream.
In addition to the discounts, there is the Navistar Family Area. The Navistar Family Area offers inflatables, jousting, a mechanical bull, Euro bungee, petting zoo and a hands on activity tent every day from noon till 8 pm.
Below is a list of family activities across the four days of Ribfest.
July 1:
- Circus: 12:30, 2:30, 4:30
- Balloon Twister in Hands on Tent: Noon - 3:00
- Kid Bucks: 1:30, 3:30, 5:30
- The School of Performing Art Dance Ensemble: 4:00-5:00

- Interactive Children's Music with Dave Rudolf: 1:30 - 2:30

- Kid Bucks: 1:30, 3:30, 5:30
Parking:
- There is limited on-site parking, but shuttles are available at several local lots.
- Shuttles run starting at 11:30 until 10:30 on most days.
- Shuttles are available at the following locations Burlington/Kroehler Lot (after 6pm on July 1st and July 2nd), North Central College, Neuqua Valley H.S., Mary Lou Cowlishaw Elementary, and Naperville North High School - BEGINS AT 2PM ON JULY 1ST.

I love that your ribfest is all about kids. That is awesome. Our fest is Kalamazoo is family friendly, but the activities you have lined up seem specially catered to youth. That's awesome.
