Free admission days at Chicago museums this summer

It can be expensive to take the family to the Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry and Adler Planetarium. Just admission to the museum, without all the extras can be over $100.
Luckily, Chicago area museums offer several days where general admission is free. Special exhibits are not included in the free admission. But when you save on the general admission price, you'll have some extra dollars for the special exhibits.
