Save your plants from critters with Havahart's products

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Woodstream. All opinions are 100% mine.

In my house we've got Spring Fever, which means we're finally done with snow and cold. Over the past couple of weeks, we've been planting flowers, getting vegetables ready for the garden and enjoying being outside. It's been so nice enjoying the good weather and being outside.

Unfortunately, there has been one downside - rabbits eating my newly planted flowers and vegetables. I couldn't believe it. I had spent lots of time (and money) in making my yard look nice and the rabbits had a feast. What could I do?

I headed to my local hardware store to see my options. There was an assortment of sprays and pellets. Although these could work, I didn't like the idea of these products around my little kids. Plus, the sprays require constant reapplication to work.

Luckily I was introduced Havahart animal traps. Havahart animal traps are are constructed of sturdy rust-resistant wire mesh with steel reinforcements for long life. The mesh openings in the traps are small and prevent escapes and stolen bait.

Havhart is introducing a new product, Easy Set Animal Traps. This new product has a special trap release that makes it easier to relocate the animal into the wild. The National Gardening Club gave the Easy Set Animal Trap a rating of 8.5 out of 10.

Knowing that I don't want rabbits eating all my plants, I'm willing to explore all options to stop the critters munching away. The trap process seems simple enough. There are lots of places to hide the traps, like around the fence. Hopefully the traps will discourage the rabbits from eating all my new plants.

My biggest concern is releasing the rabbits back into the wild. The Easy Set Animal Trap seems simple to get the rabbit back to a home away from my plants. I'll be contacting the local forest preserve and humane society to see what the correct procedure is. Also, I'll be checking the traps often to make sure that I'm the one who finds the little critter. We don't want the kids to think that the rabbit is their new pet. But faced with the alternatives of losing all my plants or using sprays, I think that I'll try the trapping system.

So, if your family has a problem with critters ruining your garden, Havahart Easy Set Animal Traps may work for you.
