The kids are out of school for Spring Break. Is your family looking for something to do with your older kids that doesn't cost a fortune.
The Naperville Public Library is offering numerous activities during the week for the older kids in your house.
Below is a list of this week's activities that are for teens:
Monday, March 29 2-4 p.m., Naper Blvd. Get Your Game On: Enjoy the Library's assortment of video games for the Wii. Games include Wii™: Guitar Hero™, Dance Dance Revolution™, MarioKart™, Rock Band 2™, SuperSmash Bros.™, Wii Sports™, Mario&Sonic™, and The Beatles™: Rock Band™. Registration is not required, but Naperville Public Library cardholders will be given first preference, in accordance with our Priority Service Policy. This event is for kids in grades 6 through 12.
Tuesday, March 30 2 -3:30 p.m. Naper Blvd., Making Picture Frames: Interested in making your own special picture frame for an unique photo? Come to the library to create your own frame. The library will provide all the materials, but the decoration is up to your creativity. On-line registration is required. Space is limited. Please register here. This event is for kids in grades 6 through 12.
Tuesday, March 30 3 p.m. Nicholas Library, Wii are Family, Love Wii and want to help others. Teens will have the opportunity to teach the older members of the community how to play popular Wii games like Wii Sports, Mario Kart and more. Teens who wish to participate must register here. This event is for kids in grades 6 through 12.
Thursday, April 1 1 p.m. 95th Street Library, April Fools Party and Prank Contest, It's Spring Break and April Fools Day. Why not have a little fun diversion. The library will show Ferris Bueller's Day Off and have some movie snacks. After the show, enter the Best Prank Contest. Be creative and tell the story of your best prank. The audience will determine the winner. No registration required. This event is for kids in grades 6 through 12.
