Hot Locks - more hair, more fun, doll review and giveaway

Recently I was contacted by MomSelect to try a new doll that is being released. Hot Locks is a great new doll that is perfect for little girls who love to style hair.

Hot Locks dolls are “Hair-rageous”. Each 4” doll comes with 14” of silky hair, 1 medium sized barrette, 2 mini-barrettes and 1 styling comb. Deluxe dolls have two 14” pony tails of silky hair, a unique hair accessory, a 12” hair extension/barrette, 4 mini barrettes and a styling comb.

We received the Syndey doll at our house. This cute little girl had lots of pink hair, barrettes and a hair dryer that stamped pink and blue stars into her hair. We had fun braiding her hair especially when there was a total of 28 inches of hair. It was so long that we could wrap the braid all around her. The stamp took a little getting used to, but we figured out how to make fun designs with the blue and pink colors. There were so many creative ways to style her hair. We were amused for hours. This doll is perfect for the little girl who loves to style hair.

Hot Locks can be purchased at Toys R Us and Walmart. The regular doll retails for $7.99 and the deluxe doll retails for $14.99.

Hot Locks has partnered with Kid Snips and Radio Disney in the Chicagoland area to host several parties. Look for Hot Locks in your local Kid Snips. If you're in the Naperville area on March 23, Hot Locks is hosting a hair raising party at Kid Snips. From 2 till 3 p.m. there will be contests games and music from Radio Disney. For families in Chicago, Hot Locks will be part of the Soldier Field Egg-Stravaganza, which is being held on March 27 from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m.
