Get ready for Spring with Naperville Public Library's March children's programs

Tired of the same routine? Are you looking for something fun to do with your kids? Check out these great special programs that the Naperville Libraries are offering in the month of March.

March 2 @ 1:30 p.m. 95th Street Library : Day at the Circus: Come one and all to the Big Top for a wonderful event. Step right up for circus themed stories, music, games and tons of fun. All the ladies and gentlemen will leave with a souvenir craft from the event. This program is for children ages 3 through 5 with a caregiver.

March 3 @ 3 p.m. Naper Blvd. Library: Get in the Game, Got a favorite game? Whether it's Connect 4, Boggle or Checkers, join fellow game enthusiasts for some board game fun. There will even be a larger than life Monopoly game. This is a drop-in program for children of all ages with a caregiver.

March 10 @ 7 p.m. 95th Street Library, Black Light Theater, Stories will be told in a darkened room with puppets and black lights. Not recommended for children under 3 and a caregiver must accompany all children. No registration required.

March 11 @ 4 p.m. 95th Street Library, Bookoply, Join other children in this trivia event. Based on the book, The Lightning Thief, children will answer questions and do physical challenges regarding the book. Get ready to roll the enormous dice and flip the over-sized physical challenge cards to determine your next move. For children in third through fifth grade. No registration required.

March 12 @ 1 p.m. Nichols Library, Day at the Circus, Come one and all to the Big Top for a wonderful event. Step right up for circus themed stories, music, games and tons of fun. March 16 @ 7 p.m. Naper Blvd. Library, Bingo Night, Need some family fun. Get the gang together for some B-I-N-G-O antics. The library provides the card, the markers, and lots of fun. All children welcome with a caregiver.

March 18 @ 4 p.m. Nichols Library, Magic School Bus, Ready to journey back to dinosaur-land. Travel on the Magic School Bus (TM) back in time for to the land full of dinosaurs. While there, learn some dinosaur facts, do an activity or two and make your own dinosaur to take home for your next journey. For children in first through third grade. Registration REQUIRED. March 24 @ 11:30 a.m. Naper Blvd. Count on Me, Get your little one ready to explore the fun of numbers. Through stories, songs and rhymes, little ones will be ready to count all day long. A simple craft will continue the counting at home. Birth to 23 months. Registration REQUIRED. Click here to register.

March 31 @ 11:30 95th Street Library, What's Black and White, Whether you like zebras, pandas, or penguins this event is for your child. Join the black and white fun with stories, songs, activities and a craft. For children of all ages with a caregiver. No registration required.
