Take the family to the Chicago Golf Show February 26-28

Tired of all the snow and cold in our area. Can't wait for the first tee time of the season?

Head out to Donald E. Stevens Convention Center this weekend and enjoy the Chicago Golf Show.

The Chicago Golf Show celebrates the love of the links. It is the biggest and best golf show of the Midwest. Whether your the avid golfer or an occasional player, the Chicago Golf Show has something to offer you.

This year each adult will receive one (1) free round of golf at select area golf courses. The free golf offer comes courtesy of GolfVisions Management, Inc., a Chicago-area company that operates 10 courses in the area.

In addition to free golf, included with admission to the Chicago Golf Show is the choice of a one-year
subscription to Golf Digest magazine or a six-month subscription to Golf World (22 issues).

Besides all of the free goodies with admission, there are two competitions, Long Drive Competition sponsored by Krank Golf and the show’s traditional 85-foot Long Putt challenge. The winner of each competition will receive a prize.

In between the competitions, the Chicago Golf Show offers huge savings on golf equipment, golf balls, golf shoes and golf apparel. And, if your family is looking for a golf getaway, there are several exhibitors who can help plan a regional, national or even international golf destination vacation.

Throughout the weekend, there will be appearances by special Chicago Hawks former players, various golf instructors and the Shannon Rovers Parade on Saturday.

When: February 26th - 28th, 2010, Friday 12pm to 7pm, Saturday 9:30am to 6pm, Sunday 9:30am to 4pm

Cost: Friday tickets are $5, Saturday and Sunday $10 (with discounts available), youngsters 12 to 15 $4, children 11 and younger are free.
