What family doesn't love the Shedd Aquarium and the recently renovated Oceaniarum. But for many of us, the cost to visit the Shedd prohibits numerous visits throughout the year.
Luckily there are several days in the month of November that are free admission days. Still, there's the cost of parking or taking Metra, but the free admission is definitely worth planning your family's trip around these discount days.
These free admission days are considered "community discount" days. Included in the free admission days are the Waters of the World, Amazon Rising, and the Caribbean Reef. The other exhibits, Wild Reef, Polar Play Zone and Oceanarium, are available at a discounted rate.
Free admission days in November are:
- November 2 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 3 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 9 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 10 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 16 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 17 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 23 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 24 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- November 30 : 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
